I was always a curious child who loved to read and explore, to travel and expand, to learn and to teach.  I played school with my younger siblings, and even became a teacher after graduating with a Masters in Education.  Teaching was my dream and my life for as long as I could remember.  I even began a committed yoga practice in the late 90s and ended up studying yoga and eventually teaching Hatha Yoga for twenty years.

Flash back to 1989 when I had a pivotal moment in my late thirties, which shifted my whole perspective about life. It was a lot like what we call now, “a tower moment”, when everything changed.  A job was lost and I gained a new perspective about life.  The moment that a helpful friend suggested the book  You Will See It When You Believe It  by Dr. Wayne Dyer my life changed forever. I had never heard of many of the concepts he discussed, and the way he described them opened my mind and soul to know that there is a better way to experience life. The seeker archetype awakened within me and like many,  I read every book about spiritual growth available at the time. I delved into many modalities and learned many new skills.  Among them were Shamanism, Reiki, Oracle Reading, Astrology, Past Lives, the Afterlife,  and Yoga- all aspects of yoga.

  After about 20+ years of exploring,   I discovered the Akashic Records. on a Sounds True podcast at the gym.  Linda Howe was on this fateful podcast, and from there, my Akashic Records journey began. Once I opened the door to inner knowing with The Akashic Records, my life changed forever.

What are the Akashic Records?

Imagine if you can: every deed, word, thought, experience that has happened to all living beings, all landforms, all buildings, countries, ethnic groups,  organizations, sacred sites, crystals and anything else that you can think of ,having one place where all of these thoughts, words and deeds are recorded.

There are many stories connected with the origin of these records, some going back to the time of the Old Testament, Ancient Egypt, Ancient India, and Tibetan monks.  The word Akasha comes from Sanskrit meaning primary substance.  They are fluid, and changeable and hard to define at times especially to the Western mind.

Until recently, the ability to open them was only given to the religious elite, or those participating in mystery schools of old. 

More recently as the vibration of the Earth is expanding and more people are aware of this ancient source, access to The Akashic Records has been given to those who are attuned to the power of the Records.  There are guides and non physical beings assigned to the Records, and only those with positive intent are allowed to “go into” them.  In the early 1900s, the late Edgar Cayce was known for his studies in the records where he was able to go in and receive valuable information for the souls who he helped.  He spoke of “a storehouse of information in a non-physical plane of existence, which maintains the record of every soul’s past, present, and future.

Since the early 1990s, with the publication of Linda Howe’s book  How to Read The Akashic Records, there has been a huge interest in learning more about “the Records” and experiencing them through a reading or first-hand.. Today, one can do a Google search or one on YouTube and find countless videos, books and other resources which provide helpful information and guidance about regarding how to read them, find your past lives, Akashic meditations, podcasts and more. 

Nothing in the records is predestined.  We are given free will to ask and receive relevant answers to our inquiry.  They will never tell you what to do, or solve an issue for you but can give potent advise or thoughts about outcomes.
