How we found our home in Gaston, OR-

I have a fun story share. If you are not interested in a magical mystery tour, go no further. Using intuition, you were picked to hear this.. Having read many spiritual memoirs over the years, I would always say inwardly, "Gee I wish that would happen to me." Today, I posted a picture of our house, and decided that maybe it would be fun to share this story with a select group of friends. Some of you know me very well, and this might be a repeat. Some of you know me thru Hillview or the Bhakti community, or from various trips taken or classes. In any case here we go.

In the summer of 2016, Tom and I took a road trip to Colorado from our home in Mtn. View CA to see our dear nephew in Boulder. It was stunningly magical there especially our last stop in Crested Butte. Hiking had become a mainstay at that time and it was a great way to balance our then Silicon Valley existence. After our last stop in Trukee CA, we were driving into the Sacramento Valley and a palpable shift in our energy happened. We did not look forward to returning home. I had no idea that Tom was thinking the same thing as me. We both let out a big sigh and I just closed my eyes .

And then it happened. You might ask what was the it? Well you know that feeling when you seem to be struck by a lightening bolt. I heard a voice. Being clairaudient, this has happened just a few times, getting a message from the beyond (I call it my team or guides) causes a 180 degree shift from what we thought would happen in our lives. The voice said , "Tell him, we can't live here any more." Uh OK.. so I did and those of you who know my delightful husband will not be surprised at his response. He looked at me with a big smile, and asked, "So where are we going?" And those words were the beginning of a new adventure.

Having been part of the Ananda path since his late 20s, he said we have to be close to a community. After eliminating a few places, we both agreed on the Portland area and in about two minutes after the previous message we had found a lovely home through Zillow (Gotta love our phones). Between the message and our moving date in November of 2016 lots more synchronicity happened. If you want to know more, happy to write more . But for now.. that is how we got our home.
